About Cathi Bradford

TEACHER. VETERAN. COMMUNITY LEADER.

For more than 26 years, Cathi Bradford has dedicated her life to students, first as an elementary school teacher and for the last 19 years as a middle school teacher of history, English, and reading. She believes education should be about curiosity, confidence, and character - not social agendas - and that every child deserves a strong foundation in the basics.

Before becoming a teacher, Cathi proudly served more than 23 years in the United States Air Force and Air Force Reserves, where she learned the values of discipline, teamwork, and accountability. Those same principles have guided her work as an educator and community leader.

Now, Cathi is running for the Alabama State Board of Education, District 6, to bring common-sense leadership, parental involvement, and a renewed focus on academic excellence to our schools. She's ready to help Alabama get back to basics, back to parents, and back to patriotic ideas.
